Thank you for this, Olivia! So much valuable information that came at a time when I am craving and looking to increase healthy proteins like fish. One of the Instagram accounts I follow recently started recommending fancy, expensive, mail-order omega 3 supplements and claims that there is no way we can possibly get enough through foods. Are you of the same mind and do you supplement? What brands do you like if so? As for another Fear-Mongering or Fact topic idea, soy! I happen to love tofu now and again and source the extra firm, high protein, preferably sprouted kind when I purchase it at the store. I also enjoy miso, tamari, sometimes tempeh… And back in the day I could guzzle soy milk when I went through a vegetarian/vegan phase. What are your thoughts?
Hi Rosemary! Great questions. When it comes to supplementation I think a quality Omega 3 supplement is a great staple and will help most people (and a lot of people don't consume enough seafood and benefit greatly from it). Personally I do take an Omega 3 and notice a huge difference, unlike with many supplements out there.
Great idea about the soy post - I will work on that!
As always, valuable content!
glad you found this one helpful :)
I needed this! Thank you for all the info ❤️
Oh good I am so glad to hear that!
